Who we are
AuthorSuite is a product of Structure OS, LLC, Ltd. (“Structure OS,” “we,” “us”), a Wyoming limited liability company with operations in Las Vegas, Nevada. This policy explains what information we collect when you use authorsuite.online and the AuthorSuite app, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
The short version. Manuscripts and scripts you submit for evaluation are evaluated, not stored. We keep the results and basic account and billing records. We don't sell your information, we don't run advertising or analytics trackers, and you can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your manuscripts and scripts
When you submit a manuscript, screenplay, pilot, podcast script or other work for evaluation, the text is sent to the AI services that perform the evaluation (listed below) and the report is returned to you. We do not save the text of your work on our servers. Your report is delivered to you, and copies you keep live on your own device.
To keep track of evaluations, we store a record of each one: the project title, the type of evaluation, scores, grades and verdict, page count, any certificate number, what was charged, and a one-way fingerprint of the text. The fingerprint lets us recognize a repeat submission. The text can't be rebuilt from it.
You own your work. Submitting it to AuthorSuite gives us no ownership of it and no right to publish it. See our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
Account and contact details
Your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash, never in readable form). If you're a business client, the company name and phone number you choose to give us.
Project details you enter
Information you type into the app so the tools can use it, such as project titles, genre, logline, comparable titles, target audience, notes, story and character notes, and visual style notes. These stay in your account until you delete them or close your account.
Billing
Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your Stripe customer and subscription references and the amounts charged. We never see or store your full card number.
Usage records
Which tools you ran, when, and how much processing they used, so we can bill accurately, enforce plan limits and keep the service running.
Production files
Some production tools (video, voice and audio) need your files on our servers while the job runs, for example the audio you upload for a video, images you supply, or the text you want narrated. See How long we keep information.
Technical information
Like most websites, our servers log basic request information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use it for security and troubleshooting.
Messages
If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
How we use information
- To run AuthorSuite: create your account, perform evaluations, produce your files and deliver reports.
- To bill you and manage your plan, credits and receipts.
- To issue and verify AuthorSuite certificates.
- To send service emails, such as receipts, report delivery and important account notices.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don't use your manuscripts or scripts to train AI models, and we don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
Services that process information for us
AuthorSuite relies on the following providers. Each receives only what it needs to perform its part of the service.
| Provider | What it does for AuthorSuite |
|---|---|
| Google (Gemini, Imagen) | AI evaluation and writing tools; image generation |
| Anthropic (Claude) | AI evaluation and writing tools |
| Amazon Web Services | AI models (Amazon Bedrock) and file storage for podcast publishing |
| OpenAI | Image generation |
| fal.ai | Image generation |
| ElevenLabs | Voice and narration |
| AssemblyAI | Audio transcription |
| Stripe | Payments and subscriptions |
| Hostinger |
We use these providers through their business API services, under their own terms and privacy policies.
If you use your own AI keys
AuthorSuite lets you add your own API keys for some AI providers in Settings. When you do, requests made with your key go to that provider under your own account and agreement with them.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. We use your browser's storage only to keep you signed in and remember your settings. If you arrive through a link that carries a channel code (for example authorsuite.online/?ref=linkedin), your browser keeps that code for 30 days and adds it to our checkout links and to the subject line of emails you send us from the site, so we can tell which channels bring people to AuthorSuite. The code says nothing about you, is not combined with any other tracking and is never shared. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages to process payments and prevent fraud.
Certificates
If you receive an AuthorSuite certificate, anyone who has its certificate number can confirm it at authorsuite.online/verify. The check shows the name on the certificate, the project title, the score and grade, the type of evaluation and the date issued. It never shows your work.
How long we keep information
- Manuscripts and scripts submitted for evaluation: not stored.
- Video and storyboard working files: deleted automatically, normally within 5 days. Uploads for a job that failed are kept for up to 30 days so you can retry without uploading again.
- Text for voice and audio jobs: kept with the job record so you can download or re-run it, until you ask us to delete it or close your account.
- Account, project details and evaluation records: kept while your account is open.
- Billing records: kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after an account is closed.
When we share information
We share information only with the providers listed above to run the service; when you ask us to, such as when you share a certificate; if the law requires it; or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public. If Structure OS is ever merged or sold, your information would transfer under this policy, and we would tell you first.
Security
Connections to AuthorSuite are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored as hashes, access to our systems is restricted, and payment details are handled by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach affecting your information, we'll notify you as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete the information we hold about you, or to close your account. Email support@authorsuite.online from the address on your account. We'll confirm the request and act on it.
Depending on where you live (for example California, Nevada or the European Union), you may have additional rights under local law. We honor those requests. We don't sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Children
AuthorSuite is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll also tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
